HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR MOMENTUM?
Simply present your valid identification at any Player's Club booth on property to sign up for your personalized account and you can start earning valuable Momentum Dollars right away.
CAN I JOIN MOMENTUM ONLINE?
Unfortunately, you need to bring a valid identification to a Player's Club Booth on property to join.
WHAT ARE ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION?
When registering for a Momentum card, guests will need to present a valid government issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of identification include Driver's License, Passport, Military or Veteran ID, State ID, Tribal ID, Alien Resident ID and Gun Permit.
WHAT IS THE CORE STATUS CARD?
The Core status card is the initial card that any guest who is 21 years of age or older can sign up for with a valid form of identification. It is still free of charge at our Player’s Club booths. Core has many benefits associated with it, so by signing up for the Core status card, guests will receive all of the benefits associated with the card.
WHAT IS THE IGNITE STATUS CARD?
The Ignite status card is available to guests who earn 400 Status Points during the six-month qualifying period. Guests who earn Ignite status will have all of the associated benefits that the Ignite status card offers. Ignite members will be given 50 Choice Credits each month with which they can design their stay based on their interests while visiting Mohegan Sun.
WHAT IS THE LEAP STATUS CARD?
The Leap status card is available to guests who earn 600 Status Points during the six month qualifying period. Guests who earn Leap status will have all of the associated benefits that the Leap status card offers. Leap members will be given 200 Choice Credits each month with which they can design their stay based on their interests while visiting Mohegan Sun.
WHAT IS THE ASCEND STATUS CARD?
The Ascend status card is available to guests who earn 1,400 Status Points during the six-month qualifying period. Guests who earn Ascend status will have all of the associated benefits that an Ascend member receives. Ascend members will be given 800 Choice Credits each month with which they can design their stay based on their interests while visiting Mohegan Sun.
WHAT IS THE SOAR STATUS CARD?
The Soar status card is available to guests who earn 4,000 Status Points during the six month qualifying period. Guests who earn Soar status will have all of the associated benefits that a Soar member receives. This card level does not have Choice Credits. Soar members have full access to all of the benefits that are received by using Choice Credits without having to manage a set amount of Choice Credits each month.
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFYING PERIODS?
Qualifying periods are the same, April through September and October through March.
IS A PIN REQUIRED?
Yes, the use of the PIN (Personal Identification Number) for transactions is required for your security.
ARE THERE RESERVED PARKING LOCATIONS?
Yes, Ascend and Soar members may park in our Riverview garage, and Leap, Ascend and Soar members may park in our Indian Summer garage.
WILL I RECEIVE EXTRA BENEFITS PLAYING AT A HIGHER RATE?
When you play at a higher rate, you will earn more Status Points and Status Points are how you move up to a higher Status Card level. By moving up to a higher level, your benefits will increase, and you will earn more Momentum Awards!
HOW CAN I CHECK HOW MANY MOMENTUM DOLLARS/CHOICE CREDITS/ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS I HAVE OR HOW THEY WERE USED?
Please visit mymohegansun.com or any of the kiosks located throughout the property to access balance information.
Momentum Dollars are spendable at any of our shops or restaurants. These dollars are earned by gaming. One Momentum Dollar is equivalent to one dollar when using them for purchase in any of our shops or restaurants. Momentum Dollars will expire after 12 months of inactivity.
ARE MOMENTUM DOLLARS RECOGNIZED AT OTHER MOHEGAN SUN PROPERTIES?
Yes! Momentum Dollars can be redeemed at Mohegan Sun Pocono, Resorts Casino Hotel and ilani.
WHAT ARE STATUS POINTS?
Status Points are earned through gaming and determine which card level members fall into.
ARE STATUS POINTS EARNED AT THE SAME RATE THROUGHOUT EVERY CARD LEVEL?
Yes, Status Points, unlike Momentum Dollars, are earned at the same rate throughout every card level.
DO STATUS POINTS EXPIRE?
Status Points will be reset to zero at the end of each qualifying period.
WHAT ARE CHOICE CREDITS?
Choice Credits are complimentary credits that are given to Ignite, Leap and Ascend members each month. Ignite members will receive 50 Choice Credits each month, Leap members will receive 200 Choice Credits each month and Ascend members will receive 800 Choice Credits each month.
CAN I EARN EXTRA CHOICE CREDITS?
Leap card holders can earn 100 extra Choice Credits by playing to a higher level and earning 1,000 Status Points within the six month qualifying period.
WHAT CAN I USE MY CHOICE CREDITS FOR?
Choice Credits can be used for VIP lounge access, Seasons Buffet entry, hotel stays, scooter rentals, gaming exchanges (available to Leap and Ascend members only) and Arena tickets.
HOW MANY CHOICE CREDITS WILL IT TAKE TO VISIT THE LOUNGE? ATTEND AN ARENA SHOW? STAY AT THE HOTEL?
Lounge access using Choice Credits will cost 10 Choice Credits during Non-Peak hours and 15 Choice Credits during Peak hours (busy show or event nights and Fridays from 2:00pm to Sundays at 8:00pm). This charge is per guest, per entry into the lounge. Choice Credit charge at Seasons Buffet is 15 Choice Credits per guest at breakfast, 20 Choice Credits per guest at lunch and 25 Choice Credits per guest at dinner. Hotel stay rates for Choice Credits are 100 Choice Credits per guest for a Non-Peak Day Guest Room and 400 Choice Credits per guest for a Peak Day Guest Room. Hotel stay rates for Choice Credits may vary, up or down, based on volume.
CAN I ROLL MY CHOICE CREDITS OVER FROM MONTH TO MONTH? DO THEY EXPIRE?
No, Choice Credits do not roll over from month to month. They expire at the end of the month and guests are given the full amount of Choice Credits associated with their status at the beginning of each new month.
CAN I USE CHOICE CREDITS AT OTHER MOHEGAN SUN AFFILIATED PROPERTIES OR AT OFF PROPERTY HOTELS?
No, at this time, Choice Credits can only be redeemed at the Connecticut property and at Mohegan Sun Hotel in Uncasville, CT.
CAN I PAY FOR ITEMS BY COMBINING CHOICE CREDITS WITH MY MOMENTUM DOLLARS, CASH OR CREDIT CARD?
Choice Credits cannot be combined with any other form of payment.
CAN I SEE HOW MANY CHOICE CREDITS REMAIN ON MY ACCOUNT OR HOW I HAVE SPENT THEM?
You will be able to access your Choice Credit balance at any of our kiosks or online at mymohegansun.com.
WHAT IS A PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD AND HOW DO I EARN IT?
Personal Achievement Awards are based on each person's individual Status Point earnings per trip. Each guest will receive an Individual Status Point Goal in their monthly mailer. When the guest plays up to that goal in one gaming day, they will be awarded a Personal Achievement Award which can include Free Slot Play, Momentum Dollars, Mohegan Sun gift cards or cash. The Personal Achievement Award will be available at any kiosk on property once the Status Point Goal is earned. The Awards will be available for redemption at the kiosk for 30 days from the time the guest earned the award. Only one Personal Achievement Award can be earned each gaming day.
WHAT IS A MOMENTUM ACHIEVEMENT AWARD?
Momentum Achievement Awards are set Status Point Goals that have an associated award attached to them such as Free Slot Play, Momentum Dollars, Mohegan Sun gift cards or cash. At each instance in which a set Status Point goal is reached (250, 500, 750, 1,000, etc…) guests will be awarded with the associated prize level that is connected with each goal. Awards will be available at the kiosk every time they hit one of the Status Point Goals. Guests can earn multiple awards each day by hitting multiple Status Point Goals.
WHERE CAN I REDEEM THESE AWARDS?
All awards can be redeemed at the kiosk. They will be available for 30 days on the kiosk from the date that the guest has earned the award.
DO ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS EXPIRE?
Achievement Awards do expire after 30 days from the time of earning. When you redeem the award at a kiosk, in the instance of Free Slot Play, Mohegan Sun gift card and Cash, you have 30 days to redeem the voucher for the award or use the Free Slot Play on a slot machine.
WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED WHEN I REGISTER AND WHAT IS DONE WITH THE INFORMATION?
The information collected when registering to become a Momentum member including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number and email address is placed in a database that is not shared with or sold to any third party. This contact information helps communicate our marketing efforts, promotions and entertainment directly to each member.
