To celebrate 25 years of unforgettable concerts, championship events, and world-class entertainment at Mohegan Sun Arena, the spotlight shifts from the stage to the bar for The Shaker Showdown, a live bartender competition featuring some of Mohegan Sun's most talented mixologists.
Inspired by the energy of live entertainment, contestants will create an original Wild Turkey Bourbon cocktail that pays tribute to Mohegan Sun Arena’s legacy and the memorable moments it has hosted over the past 25 years. Competitors will be judged on creativity, technique, presentation, and storytelling as they compete in front of a live audience and panel of judges.
The evening will feature cocktail tastings, live judging, and music from DJ JSmith, creating a concert-like atmosphere throughout the competition. Guests can purchase tickets at the door to sample each cocktail and enjoy elevated takes on classic arena favorites.
More than a cocktail competition, The Shaker Showdown celebrates creativity, hospitality, and entertainment. At the end of the night, one bartender will earn the title of Headliner Champion, take center stage and win an opportunity to travel to Kentucky!
Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 and includes sampling of the cocktails and curated arena bites.
