Sun BBQ Fest also features a World Food Championship sanctioned barbecue competition with teams that compete all over the country. During the last hour of the event stick around to celebrate, over $25,000 will be given out in prize money!

If you’re feeling competitive, get your group together to play in Sunday's Wicked Cornhole Tournament! The tournament team winner will get a free hotel stay and (2) tickets to see a show at the Arena (for available dates)!

Participating WFC teams will be selling $2 BBQ samples throughout the weekend! Guests of the event will be able to vote for their favorite People's Choice entry throughout the weekend. Voting will run from 11:00am on Saturday until 3:00pm on Sunday. Guests will see signage and directions for choosing their favorite and will be able to text their vote accordingly.

Teams can compete for over $25,000 in prizes in the following categories: Barbecue, Dessert, Burger and an all-new Seafood contest. For the first time, portions of the WFC competition will be viewable on a first-come, first-served basis, while seats are available. The judging may be closed to the public for certain categories, and judges must pre-register.

To streamline purchases, all vendors and bars will have their own point of sale, accepting cash or cards. An ATM will be available inside the winter bus lobby.

Security will be checking IDs upon entry and providing wristbands to guests age 21+. Cornhole is all ages, axe throwing is only available to guests ages 12 and up.
