Travel Agent Registration & Travel Agent Claims
Travel Agents, intending to claim commission, must register with Amadeus Service Hub before you will be able to book using your IATA or ARC ID when booking via https://reservations.mohegansun.com/ . Travel Agents may otherwise book via the Global Distribution System (GDS) chain code WV. Amadeus: GON001 GALILEO/APOLLO: 49970 SABRE: 063768 WORLDSPAN PVDMS
Mohegan Sun has partnered with Onyx CenterSource for a streamlined commission payment process, and they are the only vendor licensed for commission payment with Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority. Travel Agents must be registered with Onyx CenterSource in order to receive commission payments.
Eligible Commission
- Commission of up to 10% may be paid on eligible reservations.
- In general, reservations booked at Best Available Rate (BAR) qualify for commission.
- Commission is calculated on room revenue only, excluding fees, taxes, and other charges, and is paid in U.S. Dollars.
Non-Eligible Reservations
The following reservations
are generally not eligible for commission:
- Canceled reservations
- No-show reservations
- Hotel entertainment packages
- Momentum Program (casino loyalty program) discounted rates
- Certain discounted, negotiated, group, convention, expo, or contracted rates
- Reservations booked through CVENT | Passkey™
- Reservations booked through online travel agency (OTA) platforms
Important Conditions
- If a guest shortens or cancels part of a stay, the commission will be adjusted accordingly.
- Mohegan Sun reserves the right to deny commission claims for group, convention, expo, or other negotiated business.
- Room block reservations should not be submitted to Onyx CenterSource, as commission payment, if applicable, is governed by the terms of the group sales agreement.
- Commission claims may be reduced or denied when eligible discounts are applied to a reservation.
- If a guest changes to a Momentum Program discounted rate, any travel agent commission associated with that reservation will be forfeited.
- Reservations submitted through Onyx CenterSource without sufficient booking information, including a valid reservation confirmation number, will be denied.
- Travel agent commission is available only when the Travel Agent directly secures the business.
- An IATA or ARC ID must be attached to the reservation at the time of booking or prior to the guest's stay. IATA or ARC IDs cannot be added retroactively after checkout.
- Commission claims must be submitted within 365 days of the guest's stay date.
- Reservations booked through a Mohegan Sun OTA partner are commissionable only to the OTA partner through direct invoicing. Travel Agents booking through OTA platforms are not eligible for separate commission payments from Mohegan Sun.
