About Vets Rock

Celebrate active-duty military and veterans at Mohegan Sun during Vets Rock! This event features valuable programs that focus on enhancing the lives of veterans and active-duty military members through a job fair, veteran service organizations, veteran-owned businesses, and other resources.

The Opening Ceremony will take place from 11:00am - Noon in front of the Box Office in The Shops at Mohegan Sun. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to the Uncas Ballroom for the 10th year of Vets Rock.

The Shops at Mohegan Sun

An exciting presentation from the Tribal Color Guard will kick off the festivities! Members of Mohegan Sun's Executive Team along with other influential speakers will discuss the importance of our military and will show their gratitude for our veterans. A local school will also perform the National Anthem.

Two service dogs will be presented to their new owners by Everlasting Veteran and donated by Meadow Ridge Weims (And Danes). Everlasting Veteran is dedicated to providing future service dogs directly to Veterans with a podcast aiding in transition and purpose!

Uncas Ballroom

Veteran service organizations, educational services and companies looking to provide benefits to veterans and military members will host tables and offer services.

A Job Fair hosted by Mohegan Sun will be available to assist service members and their families in accessing career opportunities. Mohegan Sun will also be offering Casino 101 featuring free blackjack and roulette lessons!*

Northeast Medical Group will be providing complimentary flu vaccines.

*Must be 21 years of age or older to participate in Casino 101

Adoption Event | All Paws on Deck

All Paws on Deck is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit dog rescue organization based in Connecticut that is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming pregnant dogs and their puppies. We were founded with the belief that every dog deserves a loving home, and that pregnant dogs and their puppies are among the most vulnerable and in need of care.

Vets Rock Foundation, LLC is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 by The Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut. This organization was created to support and benefit veterans, active and reserve military members, and their families. Their annual event in November, Vets Rock, is a free exposition-style event which offers access to hiring and educational opportunities, Veteran Service Organizations, and other veteran-owned companies.
