Throughout Hot Summer Fun, witness a towering 10-ton sand sculpture in The Shops Concourse, designed exclusively for Mohegan Sun.
This dual-sided display brings Mohegan Tribe stories and Mohegan Sun symbols to life. This year, the sculpture features the late Dr. Gladys Tantaquidgeon through a detailed tribute to her legacy as a long-serving Mohegan Medicine Woman, co-founder of the Tantaquidgeon Museum, and a highly respected Native American advocate and educator whose contributions endure to this day.
