Inspired by San Galgano in the hills of Tuscany, BALLO Italian Restaurant and Social Club brings to life all the majesty of an Italian cathedral coupled with exceptional service and a fresh, authentic menu of Italian favorites. To start, guests will enjoy an extensive by-the-glass wine list and specialty BALLO cocktails while sitting in a stunning environment replete with arches, stone, sensual accents and multiple private spaces. Owner John Tunney is committed to fresh, locally grown produce and innovative Italian staples you can eat from noon to midnight, "I've always loved the idea of a pantry. Later in the evening, servers at BALLO will carry out a portion of the dining room furniture and guests will literally be able to "dance on tables."

Located within the new BALLO Italian Restaurant, the space resembles a Gothic abbey built in the 12th century and located in the hills of Tuscany. The sheer magnitude of the space fits perfectly with the evolving grandeur and elegance of Mohegan Sun and its connection to nature. The stunning lounge features cozy couches with low cocktail tables, lush carpets and dim lighting. Situated underneath the grand arches with antique lighting, the lounge is the perfect spot to enjoy some late night cocktails. When the dancing mood strikes, the dancing surfaces vary from tabletops to window platforms for a real party atmosphere mirroring the Italian nightlife style. Top DJs spin the latest dance tunes every Saturday. The Social Club operates on Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 11:00pm. VIP tables are available with bottle service.
