About Vets Rock
Join us at Mohegan Sun for the 11th annual Vets Rock, a heartfelt tribute to our nation’s heroes — active-duty military and veterans — who inspire us with their courage and commitment.
This dynamic event brings together a powerful lineup of resources designed to uplift and support those who’ve served. From a robust job fair and veteran service organizations to veteran-owned businesses and life-enhancing programs, Vets Rock is more than a celebration — it’s a movement of gratitude and growth.

11:00am - Noon
Opening Ceremony
The Shops at Mohegan Sun
The day begins with a stirring Opening Ceremony hosted by WTNH’s Gil Simmons from 11:00am to Noon at The Shops at Mohegan Sun, in front of the Box Office.
The Tribal Color Guard will lead the way with a vibrant presentation, followed by heartfelt remarks from Mohegan Sun’s Executive Team and distinguished guest speakers. A local school choir will lend their voices to a moving rendition of the National Anthem, setting the tone for a day of unity and honor.

Vets Rock Expo
Uncas Ballroom
After the ceremony, guests are invited to continue the celebration in the Uncas Ballroom, where every handshake, resource, and conversation honors the journey of those who serve.
Whether you're a veteran, active-duty service member, family, or supporter — Vets Rock is your day. Come connect, discover, and be celebrated! Mohegan Sun will also be offering Casino 101 featuring free blackjack and roulette lessons!*
Northeast Medical Group will be providing complimentary flu vaccines.
*Must be 21 years of age or older to participate in Casino 101

Year-Round Military Discounts

Connecticut International Auto Show
Saturday, November 15th | 10:00am - 8:00pm
The Connecticut International Auto Show is the perfect place to browse the newest vehicles! Military personnel are invited to attend for free (with DoD Military ID).
Vets Rock Foundation
Honoring Heroes. Building Futures.
Vets Rock Foundation, LLC is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 by The Mohegan Tribe of Indians of Connecticut. This organization was created to support and benefit veterans, active and reserve military members, and their families. Their annual event in November, Vets Rock, is a free exposition-style event which offers access to hiring and educational opportunities, Veteran Service Organizations, and other veteran-owned companies.
