As we reflect on the challenges of the past year, we would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to our guests, team members and the Mohegan Tribe in their continued support of Mohegan Sun.

When we reopened our doors in June 2020, we did so with confidence in our ability to provide the highest level of safety and security for our guests and team members. Our efforts both on the floor and behind the scenes were a product of extensive planning, training and execution by our team members in coordination with guidance from our Tribal Health Department. We continue to operate with these highest levels of safety and security standards, and are committed to maintaining a safe environment going forward.

We understand it has likely been difficult for our guests to return or to visit us as often as they would have liked. We thank them for their continued loyalty and look forward to welcoming many more of our guests back in the near future.

Temperature Check For Social Distancing

Temperature Check

A simple, non-invasive temperature check will be remotely performed on all guests and team members as they enter the property, and protocols are in place to monitor symptoms.

  • Any person with a temperature reading higher than 99.9 degrees will be re-tested to confirm
  • If the reading is still high, guests will be asked to return when they feel healthy and will be reminded to follow up with their health care provider

Following CDC guidelines, beginning May 19th, fully vaccinated guests and team members will no longer be required to wear a mask while on the reservation but are welcome to continue if they prefer. Temperature checks will be monitored remotely at property entrances and we will continue to review additional safety measures with guidance from the Tribal and State of CT Health Departments and the CDC.

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

Who Can Get Tested?: Asymptomatic and symptomatic, all ages. If a child is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be present at the testing with him/her. All adults over 18 must bring a photo ID. Face masks are required. Unlimited tests per vehicle.

Billing: Insurance will be billed but we are not balance billing at this time (no cost to the patient)

Test Result Turnaround Time: Results may be available in as little as 48 hours

Mandara Spa

Mandara Spa is currently operating under State restrictions related to the Personal Services sector. As of Wednesday, May 19th, some state restrictions will be adjusted, but these adjustments do not apply to the Personal Services sector.

CURRENT SPA RESTRICTIONS

 

The Sky and Earth Towers are open and reservations are open to all guests. Valet parking is unavailable. The valet entrance is open for guests to utilize as a luggage drop-off prior to self-parking their vehicles. The Sky Tower Pool and fitness center are open. The Jacuzzi will remain closed until further notice. We will not be offering turndown service and housekeeping will be limited during multiple night stays. All rooms will be cleaned and disinfected according to CDC guidelines including using sanitization fogging after each stay between guests. Room service will be available but will be placed outside the room.

Casino of the Sky and Casino of the Earth are open with safety measures in place. We encourage players to please maintain social distancing when possible while playing on slot machines and at table games. Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer are located throughout the property for your use to wipe down machines or tables before you play. Playing cards, dice and high touch points will be cleaned and sterilized frequently.

 

Food & Beverage Safety

  • No self-service food or drink stations
  • Display menus will be used whenever possible. If multiple use menus are needed they will be disinfected after each use
  • Check presenters will be disinfected after each use
  • Tables will not be set until guest arrives at the outlet
  • Each table will be disinfected after each use
  • Reservations will be utilized whenever possible. In situations where there is walk-in dining, social distancing markers will be used to prevent crowding at the host station
  • Lounges will provide grab-and-go and full-service stations only

Please check individual dining and bar pages to stay up to date on specific changes during this time.

 

At this time, no smoking will be permitted indoors. Please use designated smoking areas outside and maintain physical distance from other guests.

 

Sachem Lounge has reopened for our Soar guests with new safety guidelines. The following rules are now in effect:

  • Soar access only until further notice
  • Limit of 4 people total (cardholder +3) at all times
  • Due to limited seating, we will have a 1 hour time limit during busy times
  • All guests must have a seat as we cannot allow extra guests to be standing
  • Sachem Lounge is re-opening as a non-smoking area

 

Mohegan Sun will accept limited Charter Buses beginning on March 22nd. Bus companies will need to book in advance. For questions, please send us an email at charterreservations@mohegansun.com or speak to your local bus carrier.

 

 

 

ASPIRE CHECK-IN

At this time, Aspire and Thirty Three amenities are unavailable. The Aspire Desk is open for hotel check-in for our Soar and VIP guests.

VIP's & Soar members and above can check-in at the Aspire check-in area. The check-in area is open from:

  • Sunday - Thursday: 9:00am - 8:00pm
  • Friday & Saturday: 9:00am - 10:00pm

 

Starting Monday, July 19th, the Aspire Valet will be open for guests.

Aspire amenities such as private concierge, valet and bell service are not available. If a guest would like to drop off their luggage, they will be asked to pull up to the main Hotel lobby and self-park. A Bellman will be there to assist any Guest who requires assistance.

 

No food will be offered to any guest at check-in. Only sealed beverages such as bottled water and soft drinks will be available.
