About Bubbleville

College Basketball Bubbleville will house several events relocated and reimagined due to COVID-19 and provides a controlled environment with teams and event staff adhering to tribal, government, and NCAA health and safety protocols and testing requirements.

The event will feature 45 games in 11 days, showcasing 40 NCAA Division I men’s and women’s teams. The schedule will be headlined by several preseason ranked squads including #2 Baylor, #3 Villanova, #4 Virginia, #18 Arizona State and #20 Oregon for the men and #3 UConn, #5 Louisville and #6 Mississippi State for the women.

Events taking place in Bubbleville include the Roman Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper, the 2K Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project presented by Continental Tire, the Air Force Reserve Tip-Off Tournament, the Jimmy V Women's Challenge and several pods and single game contests developed specifically for Bubbleville.

Select games will be available on the ESPN family of networks and FOX Sports. All other games will be streamed via FloHoops.

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENTS

TIP-OFF TOURNAMENT

The Basketball Hall of Fame hosts the annual Tip-Off Tournament each November. The Tip-Off Tournament is an NCAA exempt men's basketball tournament sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Each year, top teams and conferences will compete in the Basketball Hall of Fame's event showcasing its talents in New England's only exempt Division I college basketball tournament. The original Tip-Off was held in Springfield for more than 25 years. The format has changed, but the name has remained the same.

WOMEN'S CHALLENGE

The 2020 Basketball Hall of Fame Women's Challenge is turning the Hall of Fame's annual women's college basketball game at Mohegan Sun into a two day, four-team tournament! This event, which always features the perennial powerhouse University of Connecticut, will also have Mississippi St. University, Quinnipiac University, and the University of Maine. Previous participants in this event have included Florida St., Michigan, Oklahoma, and Texas.

THE ROMAN LEGENDS CLASSIC PRESENTED BY OLD TRAPPER

Begun in 2007, the Roman Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper has become one of the nation's most eagerly-anticipated early-season men's basketball tournaments. Regularly attracting the top programs and coaches in the country, four teams from the most prestigious conferences in the country head to Brooklyn, N.Y., and Barclays Center - the home of the Brooklyn Nets - to complete in the nationally televised Roman Legends Classic Championship Rounds.

THE EMPIRE CLASSIC BENEFITING WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT

Empire

First played in 1995, the 2K Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project is acclaimed as college basketball’s premier early-season tournament. Featuring teams from across the nation, the 2K Empire Classic annually attracts the top programs in the sport. Four teams from the most prestigious conferences in the country play the Championship Rounds at the World’s Most Famous Arena – New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

THE NORTH EAST CONFERENCE

The Northeast Conference (NEC) is the sponsoring conference of the Legends Classic Presented by Old Trapper. Entering its 40th season, the NEC is a NCAA Division I collegiate athletic association consisting of 10 institutions of higher learning located throughout seven states. THE METRO ATLANTIC ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
