Lee Brice
The Wolf Den
"I Drive Your Truck," Lee Brice »
Lee Brice is a man whose time has come. On his stunning sophomore album, Hard 2 Love (Curb Records), the four-time Academy of Country Music nominee demonstrates a new maturity and patience, both in his songwriting and vocals.
"I made my first album, Love Like Crazy, over six years," explains the South Carolina native, lifting his trademark turned-around ball cap and rubbing his forehead. "It didn't feel like a cohesive record, but more like a lot of different songs. And six years later, I've grown as an artist and a writer. Everything on the new album is very pertinent to who I am right now and where I am in my life. I have some very personal stuff on there, and I had to be really honest with it. Hopefully, folks will see that."

Marc Broussard
The Wolf Den
"Where You Are," Marc Broussard »
Marc Broussard is an artist with a unique gift of channeling the spirits of classic R&B, Rock and Soul into contemporary terms. This gift has been a matter of common knowledge since 2002, when Broussard released his debut album, Momentary Setback, which he recorded and released independently at age 20. It was no secret before then, going back to those lucky witnesses who heard him belt "Johnny B. Goode" onstage at age 5 while sitting in with his father's band. Throughout his life, Broussard has been tapped as a talent to watch.

Everest
The Wolf Den
Formed by Russell Pollard in 2007, Everest caught national attention with the release of their 2010 sophomore album, On Approach. While the record helped propel them onto bigger stages and put them in front of bigger audiences, most of the band felt the record only scratched the surface of what they could do. Thus the story of Ownerless begins in early 2011 when the four members of Everest found themselves at creative loose ends. Having been recently freed from a deal with Warner Bros and still slightly road-weary from touring relentlessly behind On Approach, the band set up shop with longtime friend and musical compatriot Richard Swift at his National Freedom studios. After several weeks of recording, the band eventually returned to LA and enlisted another old friend, Rob Schnapf to produce additional recording sessions for the record. It was the kind of creative kick in the pants that the band needed.
*Come early. Seating is limited. Must be 21 or older. Times and performers are subject to change.
Black Taxi
The Wolf Den
Black Taxi is one of NYC's most prominent live acts, smashing an anything-goes Punk ethos together with Pop sensibilities, unparalleled energy and brilliant songwriting. The result is a raucous stage show, heavy on harmonies, spitfire guitar licks, body paint and all manner of instrumentation. Their style has been described varyingly as "grit-Pop" or "Dance Punk," and though their songs hint at the Talking Heads, Cake, and Daft Punk, they are driven by something entirely new and infectious.

Rusted Root

"Send Me On My Way," Rusted Root »
The quintessential live band, Pittsburgh's Rusted Root, celebrates their 20th anniversary this year. Formed in the early 90s by singer/guitarist Michael Glabicki, Rusted Root's worldly style quickly charmed fans of roots music and world Rock. To date, they have released 7 albums and sold over 3 million records worldwide. After debuting in 1992 with the self-released Cruel Sun, Rusted Root signed with Mercury Records and released the 1994 platinum-selling breakthrough When I Woke, which featured the massive hits "Send Me On My Way," "Ecstasy" and "Martyr." Their huge success allowed the band to tour with Santana, The Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, The Allman Brothers Band, HORDE Festival and, perhaps most notably, the highly-coveted support role on the landmark Jimmy Page/Robert Plant reunion tour. In 1996, the hard-touring Rusted Root returned with Remember, which was followed by 1998's Rusted Root. In 2002, the band reemerged with Welcome To My Party. In 2004, the band released a double live album aptly entitled Rusted Root Live; this double set was the second release Rusted Root's Touchy Pegg label, following the re-release of the newly remastered Cruel Sun in 2003.
