Will Hoge
The Wolf Den
"Favorite Waste Of Time," Will Hoge »
Will Hoge's previous album, Draw the Curtains, had been a unanimous high-water mark in his career, a magnificent collection of Rock, Country, Soul, Blues and Folk. With a great band, good vibes and clear skies overhead, Hoge felt like he was building something real as a career artist.
Eight months after the incident he re-entered the studio in pursuit of that mission. He now has his health, an invigorated spirit and a renewed sense of his musical journey. "Making The Wreckage opened me up in a different way," says Hoge. "I felt a calmness, a purpose. Right now it feels like I'm getting to the core of what I want to do and why."
The Wreckage listens like a record with a purpose. Having stared down his own mortality, Hoge has now rediscovered the simple joys of making good music. "It's hard to explain, but I felt a certain serenity making this album," he says. "It doesn't come through in the songs, but the process has become easier, and I believe the songs flow with more confidence."

"Pretty Little Lie," Blackberry Smoke »
The members of Southern Rock quintet Blackberry Smoke are no strangers to hard work. Playing up to 250 dates each year, the guys are on the road more often than not, and they've seen tangible results of their labor. The band has toured with and befriended idols such as The Marshall Tucker Band, ZZ Top (with Billy Gibbons jamming with the band on a Florida stop), Lynyrd Skynyrd and George Jones. The band was even asked to play for Jones on his 80th birthday, not long after the Country legend turned in a guest appearance on the band's sophomore album. They've toured Europe thrice over, and had their songs featured in video games (EA SportsÃÆ’¢ÃÆ’¯Ã‚¿Ã‚½ÃÆ’¯Ã‚¿Ã‚½ NASCAR 08) and films (Swing Vote), as well.
Mixing elements of Gospel, Bluegrass, Arena Rock, Soul and more than a touch of outlaw Country, Blackberry Smoke has earned a passionate fanbase that continues to grow as the band itself evolves. The band is as blue collar as the bandanas its members wear.

McAlister Drive
The Wolf Den
McAlister Drive is Rock for people who like Folk, Soul and Pop. With a sound that lives in a spectrum somewhere between Tom Petty and Kings of Leon, MD treasures their eclectic song writing. Founded in New Orleans by Singer/Songwriter Christoph Krey, the music has traveled to currently reside in Boston; however, the band is internationally developed through each musician. Last year was an exciting year for McAlister Drive, as the band released their highly anticipated Missing Figures EP. The opportunity to write and record an EP at the prestigious Q Divisions studios with Boston Music Award winning Rock producer Ed Valauskas accompanied by engineer Rafi Sofer, was a major part in MD's recent maturity in the music industry. In a short while, the music has aired on a number of major Boston radio stations, most notably 92.5 the River, 100.7 WZLX, 101.7 WFNX and 92.9 WBOS.
