"Her Own Kinda Woman," Big Head Todd & The Monsters »

Big Head Todd and The Monsters' ninth studio album Rocksteady was released in 2010 on the group's Big Records imprint, distributed by Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group – finds the veteran Colorado band returning to their DIY roots and forging into surprising musical territory.

Funky, lilting and melodic, the new collection features founding members Todd Park Mohr (lead vocals and guitars), Rob Squires (bass) and Brian Nevin (drums), with keyboardist, steel guitarist and backup vocalist Jeremy Lawton, who joined The Monsters in January 2004. Lawton produced and mixed the album.

"Love Stories & Other Musings," Candlebox »

Love Stories & Other Musings, the fifth studio album from Candlebox, evidences a newfound level of maturity for the band, formed in 1991 in Seattle. At the same time, listening to it with the volume knob cranked up emphatically reveals that frontman Kevin Martin, lead guitarist Peter Klett, drummer Scott Mercado and their bandmates, remain filled with the youthful exuberance that marked their first go-round in the 90s, a decade during which they ran off a string of Alt-Rock classics including "You" and "Far Behind" while selling north of 5 million albums.

Pop Evil at the Wolf Den »

Pop Evil represents the American Dream. Raised in the heartland, driven by uncompromising passion and goals, self-made from their bootstraps and energized by diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, Pop Evil has used muscle and sweat to put their musical vision into the hearts and minds of Hard Rock lovers worldwide.

Onyx, Pop Evil's brand new third album, is a triumph of Hard Rock perseverance and rabble-rousing attitude, the type of record that inspires like-minded outsiders to optimism. Onyx tracks like "Trenches," "Divide" and "Torn to Pieces" are destined for the type of hard-won ubiquity earned by "Last Man Standing," "Monster You Made" and the Mick Mars collaboration "Boss's Daughter" from 2010's War of Angels.

Nelson live in the Wolf Den »

Their music has stood the test of time. Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, revered for unforgettable past hits, explore fresh creative territory in the present with their new project, Lightning Strikes Twice. Magical melodic songwriting and soaring sibling harmonies continue to ensure that this dynamic duo is still a vital part of the music scene's future.

After the Rain was the debut multi-platinum album by Nelson, the band led by twins Matthew and Gunnar in the early 1990s. They zoomed to #1 with their hit song, "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection," which made history landing America's iconic Nelson family (bandleader Ozzie Nelson, Rock legend Rick Nelson and twins Matthew & Gunnar) into the Guinness Book of World Records as the ONLY family in Entertainment with 3 successive generations of #1 hitmakers. Nelson s After the Rain record and tour became a phenomenon just prior to the rise of Grunge. The last major success of the good time Rock N' Roll era, Nelson has had (1) #1 (4) Top 10 and (5) Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hit singles, plus (5) #1 MTV videos and has sold over 6.5 million albums worldwide.

On January 31, 2010, Connecticut witnessed the launch of the band known as PrimeTime and what a launch it was! PrimeTime was born in the mind of Ralph Valente, who at the time was playing drums in a band with bassist Paul Puglisi. They listened to their audience, understood what the people wanted and knew they had the top musicians in mind who could create Ralph's vision. Ralph first turned to his brother Sal and talked him out of retirement. Sal agreed (he was sought after by many bands, but would only come back out for his brother)…the additions of Zeke and Friday came soon after and the vision became a reality.

"Walk Softly On This Heart Of Mine," The Kentucky Headhunters »

In 2006, The Kentucky Headhunters released Flying Under the Radar. "This CD was a mixture of album cuts that we hoped would get a second chance to be heard, from the previous three CD releases. We're glad we put the record out. A lot of folks come up and say, 'Oh, I like this song or I like that song.' That's proof that if you put a great song on a record when the times and the way people are thinking are off, it will go right over their heads," said Doug.

"Sometime around the first of 2009, we were riding down the road on the bus and got to talking about all those dusty recordings we had lying around. Weve been recording since the early 70s, and there are still a ton of things no one has heard. Then we got to thinking...what if all of a sudden, the bus grew wings and carried us all off somewhere, like heaven. No one but us would know where all those recordings are hidden. So we decided right then and there to get off our rumps and start putting them out for people to enjoy," said Richard.

"Favorite Waste Of Time," Will Hoge »

Will Hoge's previous album, Draw the Curtains, had been a unanimous high-water mark in his career, a magnificent collection of Rock, Country, Soul, Blues and Folk. With a great band, good vibes and clear skies overhead, Hoge felt like he was building something real as a career artist.

Eight months after the incident he re-entered the studio in pursuit of that mission. He now has his health, an invigorated spirit and a renewed sense of his musical journey. "Making The Wreckage opened me up in a different way," says Hoge. "I felt a calmness, a purpose. Right now it feels like I'm getting to the core of what I want to do and why."

The Wreckage listens like a record with a purpose. Having stared down his own mortality, Hoge has now rediscovered the simple joys of making good music. "It's hard to explain, but I felt a certain serenity making this album," he says. "It doesn't come through in the songs, but the process has become easier, and I believe the songs flow with more confidence."
