Walk of Fame at Mohegan Sun

Walk of Fame

Mohegan Sun's Walk of Fame was unveiled in 2003 with the induction of Country music king, Tim McGraw. Since that time, the Walk of Fame has continued to grow, honoring celebrated artists such as Rod Stewart, Bon Jovi, Journey and Jimmy Buffett. The Walk of Fame was created as a way to recognize the artists who have contributed to the success of Mohegan Sun, helping Mohegan Sun become the Northeast's premier entertainment destination. The Walk of Fame looks to honor artists that have had multiple, sold-out shows in Mohegan Sun Arena and those artists that first started in smaller venues such as the Wolf Den and then moved on to sell out the Arena. Walk of Fame inductees Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban are examples of artists that rose to super stardom from shows in the Wolf Den and than later to sold-out shows in the Arena. All artists honored with a Walk of Fame have their name engraved on a plaque that is permanently placed at the entrance to Mohegan Sun Arena. They also receive a crystal replica to commemorate the occasion during a special open to the public induction ceremony held at Mohegan Sun.
