"I've Got Friends," Manchester Orchestra »

On April 1, 2009, Andy Hull started to put his life back together.

Manchester Orchestra's new album, Simple Math, is about that experience. "It's the reaction to my marital, physical and mental failures. But for the first time, I'm not blaming anyone but myself," Hull says. Produced fat, tactile and beautiful by Dan Hannon, Simple Math is Hull's third full-length LP with the band, starting with the debut album I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child and then the follow-up Mean Everything To Nothing. Recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville and mixed by Joe Chiccarelli, the band kept the same studio set-up and production team intact from their second to third records.

There's no separating the unparalleled legacy of the Doobie Brothers from their latest release World Gone Crazy - not that anyone would want to. Nevertheless, the new album may be most remarkable for the extent to which it stands completely on its own. Yes, World Gone Crazy is another chapter in one of the great American music stories, but it's neither comeback nor nostalgia. An exhibition of aggressive and emotional performances, evocative storytelling, unapologetic attitude and world-class musicianship, the collection is its own justification.

Heart at Mohegan Sun Arena »

2013 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Heart will take their critically acclaimed live show on the road this summer, making a stop at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Ann Wilson and her younger sister, Nancy Wilson, first showed the world that women can rock when their band Heart stormed the charts in the '70s with hits like "Crazy on You," "Magic Man," "Barracuda," "Straight On," "Even It Up," "Kick It Out" and many more. Across four decades and 14 studio albums, Heart has sold more than 35 million records, had 21 Top 40 hits, sold out arenas worldwide, and profoundly influenced the sound and direction of American Rock music while inspiring women (and guys too!) around the world to rock out in bands of their own.

"San Francisco," The Mowgli's »

Five childhood friends from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, augmented by three Midwestern transplants, The Mowgli's are a quintessential California band. Inspired by the magnetism of San Francisco, the grind of Los Angeles and the serenity of the Big Sur Coast, their songs are a joyous revival of Rock n' Roll, a twisting Indie-Folk dance and a heartfelt protest ballad.

GIGANTOUR, the critically acclaimed package festival founded in 2005 by MEGADETH's Dave Mustaine, returns in 2013 with an incredible new line-up for the tour. In addition to headliner MEGADETH, the multi-artist bill features metal heavyweights BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, DEVICE, HELLYEAH, NEWSTED and DEATH DIVISION, all personally picked by MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine.

"This year's power-packed lineup is probably the best Gigantour yet, and we've had some pretty massive Gigantours over the years. Gigantour 2013 brings four of my favorite bands, each centered around a superstar. With Zakk, David, Vinnie, and Jason there are going to be fans from Ozzy to Disturbed to Pantera to Metallica and everything thatÃÆ’¢ÃÆ’¯Ã‚¿Ã‚½ÃÆ’¯Ã‚¿Ã‚½s metal in-between! Don't miss the metal festival of the summer!" says Mustaine.

"Let Go," Everest »

Formed by Russell Pollard in 2007, Everest caught national attention with the release of their 2010 sophomore album, On Approach. While the record helped propel them onto bigger stages and put them in front of bigger audiences, most of the band felt the record only scratched the surface of what they could do. Thus the story of Ownerless begins in early 2011 when the four members of Everest found themselves at creative loose ends. Having been recently freed from a deal with Warner Bros and still slightly road-weary from touring relentlessly behind On Approach, the band set up shop with longtime friend and musical compatriot Richard Swift at his National Freedom studios. After several weeks of recording, the band eventually returned to LA and enlisted another old friend, Rob Schnapf to produce additional recording sessions for the record. It was the kind of creative kick in the pants that the band needed.
