Mohegan Sun Arena Schedule Of Events

The Albano Ballet Company production of The Nutcracker is a holiday favorite at Mohegan Sun, thrilling audiences old, young and in-between. Accompanied by a live orchestra under the baton of Maestro Daniel Lee, Albano's traditional version touts an international cast with dancers from Italy, Japan, China, Korea, France, Canada, Holland and Croatia. Starring in this year's cast is Ritsuko Sato from Japan as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Marcello Algeri from Italy as the Cavalier Prince. Kerryanne Saunders, a 12 year veteran with the company, dances the Snow Queen partnered with Eric Carnes, a 20 year old sensational talent trained in the Albano Ballet Academy Syllabus. Choreography and costumes are by Joseph Albano, with the assistance of Julia Frederick.
